Intern
Fiona Giardino
Fiona’s interest in healthcare originated after obtaining a bachelor's degree in public health at Florida State University. During her senior year, Fiona’s undergraduate honor’s thesis focused on the overturn of Roe vs. Wade and how it affected women’s mental health. This thesis focused on Florida State University female students' physical and psychological health throughout the overturn and in the future. Additionally, Fiona recently worked at the Florida House of Representatives as an Executive Assistant in the Office of the Clerk. She learned a lot from her experience seeing how healthcare policy is enacted and directly impacts smaller community systems. Today, in addition to interning at eTherapyCare, she is currently obtaining her master’s degree in public health at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
